Fire Extinguishers

Fire extinguishers are required by your Lease and must be installed prior to occupancy.

The Fire Marshall requires that you install fire extinguisher within your space in accordance with the following rules:

1. One extinguisher rated 2‐A10BC per 3,000 square feet of floor area.
2. 75 foot maximum travel distance to extinguisher.

Retail stores such as Home Depot and Lowe's typically do not carry commercial fire extinguishers with the 2-A10BC rating.
